There's always a first to everything right?

And I'm a firm believer in the old saying "Better Late Than Never"
Lately, I have just been sooo inspired by the 'blogging' culture, TOO inspired I must say that checking out blogs has consumed a significant percentage of my day -
my already hectic-packed-super-busy schedule as an SMU student (like we all know how HARD (read-pyschotic) we all work here!) oh the irony:p
My blog addiction first started with checking out celebrity/gossip/showbiz/entertainment blogs - like justjared and perez hilton. It initially started with a cost-saving motive, (yeah- I'm trying to save money here!) as I figure, if I can find all the latest gossips from the net (free, wireless and easily accessible) I will be able to save money by not buying gossip magazines!
At first, it worked out really well, until I became obsessed with saving beautiful pictures of my fave celebs (Christina Aguilera (duh - my old friends should already know), Mischa Barton (the lovely slim-slender-lean-tall-very-fashionable "it" girl who stole my heart ever since the O.C. season 1), and lately Paris Hilton/Nicole Richie - my fave socialites and style mavens.. and not to forget the deliciously-sexy, just-drop-dead-gorgeous Victoria Secret's Angels - Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima - and the list goes on and on and on..)
My daily routine (when I have free time, [that's appropriate rite] but ironically - IN CLASS when I'm bored as well - where I supposedly should be studying/listening to the Profs) would include MSN messenger to check my hotmail, SMU inbox for emails as well, then Friendster (like all Indo peeps I know) and the blogs.
Then I became more consumed and obsessed with the blogs as I was redirected by the websites I visited to such fashion blogs, and I must say I was officially hooked!
From the gossip blogs, I would then browse the fashion blogs, then the street style blogs (like the Sartorialist) then my friends blogs (either on friendster or blogspots) and believe me, I spend more than 4-5 hours each day surfing these blogs lately (that's an 'at least' amount of time on weekdays, it gets worst on weekends!)
And may I remind you that I spend at least 8-10 hours each day to sleep, [sleepyhead] 2 hours everyday to commute to SMU (yesh I stay far away from the city and I took the bus - which takes 40-50 minutes rides, adding the walking time - an hour approximately), 2 hours for bath and getting ready (morning and evening - and yes, unlike some people I know, I shower twice!) 2 hours for luch and dinner, 2 hours for gym (only lately) an hour or two for TV, and on weekdays when I have class - which is 3 and a half hours, and soooo...
Can you imagine how much time I spent studying? Na - Da, ZERO! (no wonder my grades are **** - no need to comment, I know, I know)
With that much time I spend on reading blogs - though many at times are meaningful, eye-opening, refreshingly hilarious and therefore relaxing, some other times are just a WASTE of my time - my precious TIME which could be spent on STUDYING!
So now, I have decided to create and write my own blog, so I can at least channel my inner journalist/fashionista/aspiring celeb - under the cover of a (supposedly) intellectual business student/undergrad. So now, at least when I read something, I can share my thoughts to those of you as well, at the same time perfecting my English writing skills and expanding my network of friends.. hehehe..
SO I guess that's it for now :P
Wow, a really long post for a first blog, but that's okay rite..
After all, those of you who know me should have already know that I am: talkative, blunt and brutally honest (even that is an understatement) hahaha..
Till my next post :)
